Yay! So great you decided to play with us, WMUT! I think you will love this swap. The camaraderie is great, too. We are all cheer leaders for each other's blocks. Some of us have done this swap together for many years, but we always love a newbie!
I thought I'd need 6 weeks off to recover from surgery but two friends at Quilt Meeting this morning said no. One had a lumpectomy and bounced right back. The other had breast reduction (which is part of my surgery) and said it wasn't bad to recover from at all. So maybe I'll be making blocks with you sooner than I thought. If my F8s arrive before surgery, I'll certainly be digging into them.

WMUT- glad to see you on their swap. I have actually used my candy in blocks. Sometimes you just need that special piece!! Welcome
I have been pulling down some new to me patterns and checking them out using my RWB fabric that will end lap quilts for vets home.
Today I tried one pattern using fat eight of three different fabrics. Block turned out good but I used all the fabric and then some!

Just a few more hours until signups close. Tomorrow I’ll send an email with my contact info and you can start shipping your F8s to me beginning next week.
My F8s are cut and packaged up but they still need a little note. Don’t forget to add your color requests (if you have them) to your packages. And please be sure your name is clearly written on each package. Thank you!
We had a heck of a thunderstorm roll through a hour ago. Good grief! It brought down parts of a couple of a neighbor’s enormous trees. Tomorrow will be spent aiding the clean up. Sideways wind, flooding rain and lighting strikes. What a storm!

Here is my fabric... a vintage piece with birds. Only had enough to cut 15 of the birds, so 4 people will get the blue scroll instead. Those will be my 4 corner blocks in the quilt. I'm excited about this brown/blue quilt!
