Janice, if you can work with this picture, I'd love to say thanks to those Boom 29 swappers for making this one. I'm old-fashioned and love pink and green so this turned out just great. Thanks again. Its off to the quilter with this one ready for her when she gets back from her surgery.

SuziQ, I just read about your knee replacement. I had my titanium knee implanted 9 months ago and have been healing right along. It is true to keep at the exercises. I've found that for me there have been ups and downs so don't get discouraged because that regular exercise will make a difference. Everybody has a different recovery so I'll pray yours continues to go well.

Good morning, Boomers! Another very warm day in WNC. Had my walk at 7 am before it got too bad. Today, Ill work on my Under the Sea quilt a bit
Reminder that we have signups open through August 12. If you are interested but fence-sitting, why not go back to Boom 29 to see what we did and get some inspiration from all those wonderful block pix?! We live new swappers as well as our long timers.

Duckling, thank you for your input. Recovery is taking longer than I expected. It seems I'll have a really good day and then the next day the pain is pretty intense. I'm doing my exercises faithfully and also going to PT, icing it a lot, etc. I just need to be patient.
