I visited a quilt shop yesterday and hubby took me to another one today. Both shops had the friendliness of helpers. Today I bought some white on white, one thing I never have enough of, a kit to make a carry all bag and some charming winter cardinals. Trying to buy different things then my same ole same ole but then I don’t have anything to go with them. What does a girl do.

Here are the Lorilai fabrics I’ll be sending!

Each swapper will get one of these prints for their 10.5 x 18", plus a smaller piece of another of the prints to use too. It will all be on the note!

Fun fabrics, Sewbizgirl! I am leaving town without having picked anything out. Maybe I'll find something intriguing in my travels.... I hope to visit the Alexander Henry factory in LA :-)

Ooh, lots of news and now fabric being posted since this morning. Wow. Love all the activity here today.

Just got home from the grands’ and what an adventure it was, the drive home I mean. A huge Tstorm rolled through, traffic lights out for miles on busy 6 lane roads, flooding, stalled traffic, you name it, we saw it. Terrible but we made it safely.

I planned to use some batiks for my F8s but I’m now thinking about something along the lines of TG’s Boom 31 fabric. I think I’m due to make a bright quilt for an older child for Project Linus so I’m considering sending solid black or dark grey and asking for shades of one color. Don’t know yet. There’s still time to decide.

Hope you have a nice evening.

Glad you got home safely despite the horrible storm, Janice. Scary driving, for sure.

I've just finished cutting my fabrics and once I get the notes made they will be ready to go. Are you ready for them yet, Janice, or should I wait a while before mailing?

That must have been a nerve racking trip, Janice. I glad you made it home safely!

Fun fabrics, SBG! I'm torn between sending some Christmas fabric or a novelty print with bunnies that I have. Decisions, decisions!

    Sewbiz very fun fabric

Janice Yikes on the ride home, I would have been scared to death

My fabric for both groups is already cut and in their baggies, just need to write the notes. Janice funny you mentioned TG’s fabric from last boom, I was thinking along the same lines and I purchased a couple fat quarter packs for a future boom.

SBG, please hold off shipping for a bit. I might be going out of town next week and so I won’t be here to receive them. I’ll let everyone know when I’ll be back and it’s good to ship.

Today, I’m going to go into my sewing room and find something to do. I’ve been avoiding it, temporary mojo loss, but it’s time to see if I can work up some enthusiasm for something, anything!

    Have a wonderful day!

Will hold my pkg for a while, Janice. Hubby nearly mailed it!

You are too funny TG! I think the Olympics are getting to you, LOL.
