Shipshewana, Indiana is just slightly less than an hour from my home. I go down once a month for a quilt meeting with a quilting friend. We always go to Lolly's and some times Yoder's for whatever quilting needs we have. Then a swing by the bulk food store before heading home. I am spoiled with so many quilt shops so close by, that is for sure.

Good rainy morning everyone. We got over three inches of rain and it's supposed to continue all day. Today is our day to babysit the girls after preschool. We won't be playing outside. Before we go, I think I'll pull out the bin with some old boom blocks and see what I can find. It's a treasure trove.

Pulling the last blocks for the gallery. I'm a bit behind. SBG, lovely blocks for Terriamn and mjp.

Have a nice day.

Janice in the gallery my block for NZQuilter is labeled wrong. It’s the block between yours and mine.

We had non stop rain and now nothing. Slight chance for sprinkles today and tomorrow

WMUT you are very lucky you live in quilting paradise

Anyone remember this blue floral print I sent and asked for purples? It’s got to be at least five years old if it’s a day. I only have some Depression blocks left and some red and whites, I think. The r/w’s are even older than the blue purple florals. Anyway, does anyone else have Boom blocks that are old? Sheesh! Who knows what is in the other bin I discovered!

What a great blocks are posted. I also see Janice is having fun putting some past BOOM blocks together. All of them look amazing. I hope I can participate again with the next BOOM to come.

Great to find an old set of Boom blocks, Janice! I don't remember them so maybe they were before my time?

I try to keep up with getting mine put together, so the oldest I have unfinished would be about 1-2 years old. I have yet to finish up the last blocks I received, the blue Santa blocks. That is a beautiful set of blocks. I need to get it done before my next local guild meeting so I can donate it in time to bless someone in the hospital this Christmas.

I have only about 4 blocks left for this swap... waah. After that I need to start making the Christmas pillows I planned for this Fall.

Hope everyone's having a great day!
