Any idea how many to use for a Queen size bed?
a queen mattress is 80 inches across with no drop
so...all the blocks in a 6 x 6 formation and
a 4 inch border and a 6 inch border equals 92 inches square!

I was thinking with sashing, I guess I can do 5 x 5 and add a 2,5 or 3 inc sashing? Then I would add borders for the drop?

Craftsbyrobin, it did that to me once, I just went back and pushed the watch button at the top of the page. Or check the one by the quick reply box, and make sure that that box is still checked.

Here are all of mine together, in no particular order.
(Love my photo editing software! It can combine photos automatically, without me having to get the actual quilt blocks out! LOL! It's called PhotoScape ... and it's a free download!)

Oh Moonrise those are beautiful. It amazes me how the different colors matched up with your fabric changes the look of the block, some are very soft looking, and some are very bold, but all are beautiful.

5 blocks x 12 inches =60 inches plus 8 inches equals 68 inches + 8 inches up and down = 76 plus 4 inch and 6 inch borders = 96 inches, 8 inch drop off the mattress on each side.

If I can cut tomorrow I can mail on Saturday. Then I can start working on blocks...I'm usually one of the first ones out of the gate, it feels really weird to be in last place.
Thanks for asking.
