Bibliostone those are gorgeous, my friends always tease that you can have a quilt from Lucinda in anycolor you want, as long as it's purple(from the old Henry Ford quote"you can have a model T in any color you want as long as it's black.)

I believe that is the Double Z block and you can find it on quilters cache.
I love all of the blocks and collages. You ladies are doing a fabulous job!!

fryguymoore, it's almost like you've created a new block pattern! I didn't think it was double z, but now that you've explained the trimming & shown the original 16" block I can see it. I agree, I really like the 'new & improved' version! Hmm...what other block patterns can be changed??!
