I was straightening my sewing room and somehow the envelope that was attached to the pictured block mysteriously disappeared. I need to put a name to the block, so I can log it in and give credit to who ever made it.

Fryguymoore, glad you like the block - I almost didn't recognize it all blown up! LOL I at first thought it was a whole quilt! - too funny

I have walked in your shoes years ago, when our 2nd son was 8. Had a few difficult years, but things turned out so well in the end - a real testimony of the power of love --- & lots & lots of patience & prayer! Somedays the dark clouds can move in, but we have to face them to see the silver lining. Your son will one day see how much you have done to help him, & will love you all the more for it. Hang in there honey - our kids are SO worth all the struggles!!

(and you know you can always vent here - that's one of the reasons we are here --- for supporting & encouraging each other :)

When I received my second son (he was adopted by me at age 9), he didn't talk, wasn't "house-trained", and acted out constantly. After a year of speech therapy, he began whispering his needs and wants. At that time his IQ was assessed at 80, and they discussed with me institutionalizing him. He got more counseling, therapy, and moved to special needs classroom. When he entered the 7th grade, he was mainstreamed into the regular classroom. When he graduated, he was a straight A student with an IQ of 120, louder than the rest of the class, and well integrated into society. It is amazing what love and patience will conquer!

Wendsy, I got an email for Quilters Roost and they are having an end of bolt sale and have 4 3/4 yards of the fabric you sent out for $29.69. I didn't know if you needed any more but that sounded like a good price to me. Here is the link

I was just looking over my sheet and wanted to make sure everyone got their block from me. From my records (and I'm sorry if I overlooked a posting) these are the people I've mail to but haven't heard that you received:

Barbsbus, Brenda 5, Cat 18, JaneCat, JLin52, KathyN, Ok Darla, Quiltergirl 80, Quiltlin, ReneeBobby, and Shaysmema.

I just wanted to make sure everyone received their grownup blocks and nothing was eaten by our wonderful postal service. ;)
