I have received some great blocks in the last week! Sorry for the delay in letting you all know I received them!

Special thanks to shaysmema, Jupiter, jlin52, and montanablu for the lovely blocks! I love them! The fabric/thread painting of the sunflower is incredible!

I also will be sending a few more home this week - I just need some envelopes!

I received a block from Jupiter this weekend. It's great! My sister and I had a good laugh, after reading her note. She placed the deer. bears, etc. facing different directions, because when they were all the same, she said it looked like a shooting gallery! (Wouldn't want that!)

I received 2 more blocks today. From jlin52 and OK Darla. They are both very nice and thank you so much for all your work. I'll post photos in a couple of days. I am really enjoying this. With these 2 blocks, I now have 15 keepers!

I received my fabric from Tracy D and I have a question.
In the envelope was a pinkish/magenta F8 and a very small piece of a minty green fabric. There was no note. Is the minty green the "coordinating fabric"? I don't know if I should be matching the green with the pink, or ??

I've was out of town this past weekend and just finally got caught up. I received a very nice block from Jupiter-I love the small green retro floral you used!

I am glad you liked it. That is one block that I had to keep for a week, just to look at it. Would you believe that is 4 - 9 patch blocks? I cut out the centers and swapped them!

Leakus, you know those teenage blocks, they think they are in control. BTW I love broidery purse(?).

That's Ok fryguy, the hearts are going to be the back of my quilt. I usually use a fine, pigma pen, but a Sharpie permanent works, You have to set them with a hot iron(sharpies), and I have heard they don't last as long as a pigma.

OKDarla thank you for the beautiful 9patch, I love the pearly white you used with it. Very striking. Will post it as soon as I get batteries, Ol' dummy me, down loaded a bunch of carshow pictures onto computer,to send to youngest son, and forgot to turn off the camera.

I am so loving this swap. It's really pushing my creative buttons.
