I just recieved purplemem's F8-and it was well worth the wait! As soon as I opened the envelope ideas for fabrics came rushing out. I hope to get it done tonight so it can be mailed tomorrow with my other post office run. I'm so glad you're feeling better.

Purplemem I received your F8 today, are you sure you weren't feeling good there for a while or did you just not want to part with this beautiful fabric. (LOL) I love love love it. It may very well be the last one that I get sent home because I think I may want to enjoy it for as long as l can. Anyway, sew sew glad you are feeling better.

And I received a grown up block from janecat--Its a beauty!! I am just loving everyone of the blocks I have received so far. Now that I have my sons wedding quilt done I should have time to finish up the rest of the squishies that I have and get them on their way home.

So I have a question for everyone! If my block turns out just a little larger than the 12.5" do you want me to go ahead and trim it or just leave it and let you do that? Some of my blocks aren't cooperating with me and will need to be trimmed a little!

If a block is over 12.5, I trim it, if under, I cross my fingers and pray it will grow in the envelope on its way home :D

Right now I'd say I'd give her to you-she's past 14 and is being cantankerous-yesterday she wanted to sit on my lap but when I went to pat or hold her she began to growl and hiss. I don't know how she can purr, growl and hiss all at once :mrgreen: Plus she's been lashing out at our younger cat for no reason, just goes up to her and smacks her, it didn't use to be a problem because one stayed upstairs the other downstairs but since the older cat came down she's been a major snit.I keep inviting her to go back up stairs, but no such luck, I tend to be a referee often. Her fluffiness is pure fur-lots of brushing required!

After having been at my DD's for two months, I'm finally home with my fabrics and sewing machine and am slowly making my way through the fat 1/8's and making the blocks. This is so much fun to see the fabrics and deciding what to do with them. Have mailed out about ten blocks so far, most of them today. Have not received fabrics from just a few and have received blocks from many. Will post later what exactly I have received and maybe some pictures. Thank you all.....I love all of the blocks!!!
