What is a red/white/blue storm? I can tell it has something to do with blocks!

Missgigglewings is hosting the "I opened my big mouth" block collection for veterans returning injured from service. She needs red, white and blue 12.5 inch blocks. Look up this thread to read all about it! She now has a RWB storm coming in!

I received 2 grown-ups today from oatw13. I have tried for about 2 hours to get my computer to let me upload pics, but it is being a pain. Thank you oatw13, they are beautiful and want you all to see them. Will have to wait til DH gets home from hunting the end of this month.

Am I allowed to brag here, just a little bit? I just got notified that my quilt, "Me and Joe", won Best Machine Workmanship for Wall Quilts at Pacific International Quilt Festival (PIQF). Am I excited? You bet I am!!!

The little photo you see on the left of this screen by my name... 13 year old girl on horse... that is the quilt I am talking about, "Me and Joe." The quilt top is my own design, all machine applique by me, and the overall quilting is by Gina Perkes.
