OMG! I just realized that MJ's focus fabric is one I used in Izabella's butterfly quilt. I love love that butterfly fabric! I could not find any more of the fabric so I had to improvise! Here is her quilt (third picture down)

Thank you, ladies.

I like to sit down with my graph paper and colored pencils when I have the time. I don't do it it nearly as much as I would like to! I like to create pictures with the fabrics just using basic shapes. :)

April - Your quilts are lovely! I like Izabella's quilt with the butterflies! The colors are so bright and cheerful!

Hi all!
I've been home but not online very much. My sister and niece were visiting for 2 weeks. I didn't acomplish very much these days!! But back in bussiness now!
I am sending blocks to quilting turtle and montanablu. (montanablu, I know I told you that I was sending it but in fact I didn't and sending it tomorrow!)

The drought is broken! After 2 weeks of no wonderful mail, today the mailman brought a block from JaneCat, and it is beautiful....

Thanks JaneCat. I hung it on my wall with the other blocks. Its going to be a very pretty quilt. I'll post photos when I get a few more blocks to add.

LOL No worries! Leakus -- I can't count how many times I've done the exact same thing! Seems like I have the best laid plans of heading to the opposite end of town to mail my blocks/secret swaps/etc -- & life gets in the way! Someone little is always needing my time & attention :? But I can't really complain about it - while it's frustrating at times, I would hate to be home alone not needed by anyone! :thumbdown:
So whenever your block gets here, it gets here. I'm sure I'll love it no matter when! ('cuz I've seen your other blocks & you do great work!!)

I got dropped from the thread again but now I'm up to speed with everything.
Received a block yesterday from quiltlin. Love the pattern and colors. This is going to be a very bright happy quilt.

Well I'm happy to say that all of my blocks are in the mail except for the two that haven't not sent their fabric yet. I hope everybody likes their blocks and is pleased with the fabric I chose to go with what you sent. This was so much fun!!!
