Boomerang 3.0-CLOSED for Signups--(SWAPPERS PLS READ PG 155)
#1712
This time I did this swap, I wrote a description of each piece of fabric that I received from everyone. It really saved me, and also, I wasn't so stressed out about getting all of the fabrics mixed up. In Boom 2, by the time I got to the end, there were a couple I wasn't sure about. From now on, I will always do this!

Great idea Jupiter!
I stapled (little more permanent than pinning but still removeable) the return address or a label on one end of the fabric and kept it close while I was sewing. Even though I've finished all my blocks and have mailed them all everything is still labeled :-D

I organized my swap by writing the username in big letters on the back of the envelope and then taking a picture of each fabric with the envelope. Then I labeled the picture with the username. When I finished a block, I would take a picture and rename the picture to the username with a capital B(lock) on the end. When that person would send me a block, after taking a picture, I would rename the picture to the sender's username with a capital R(eceived) at the end. That way it is easy to see the fabric, what block I made from it, and what the person sent to me. Of course, I also had to make an effort to have only one swap fabric out at a time so I would not mix them up!

I took pic's of the F8 and saved them with the user name. At times it was really helpful;specially when working on more than one block.
Here is JaneCat, I agree that should be her F8 you are describing.

The swap isn't supposed to be finished until mid-December so I think people still have lots of time. I'm in no real hurry for my blocks and if people don't send the fabric I don't have to make the block. Yes, this is supposed to be fun and I am having a ball. I am loving all of the blocks I've received. Thank you all!!!
