April....I think mailing them all at once to one place is a great idea! But doesn't it mean more work for you? Just asking!

I like mailing them out as I finish them done. I found it fun to get a surprise in the mail box throughout the time! I did find that I mailed them differently from the start to finish-I started out with 6x9 envelopes with ziplock bags for $1.39 each now I use saran wrap (as little as possible) in a regular business envelope for $.88 quite a change. I also found that spreading out the mailings-the money doesn't seem to be as much as when you take in 17 at once! It's all the same but when you're paying a few dollars opposed to 20 or more it really hits you. Either way of mailing, separately or to you, April is fine with me-I know I'll be having fun!

    Hello Fellow Boom Swappers:
I have heard from new2quilting and here is her message:

Dear Boomerang 3 quilt block swappers,

I have received most of your fabric and have every intention on completing your blocks. However, they will not be completed until at least the first of the year. At that time, I will include my fabric fat 8th for you to complete.
I am undergoing multiple doctor appointments with specialists of all kinds. I have growths growing on my thyroid and blood work is not acting as it should. I am also loosing my sight which I have been told may be due to carcigens in my body. I am sleeping 16+ hours a day and cannot find a way to be without pain. Mentally, I was suppose to know if this is cancer by the end of September. As you all know, it is almost the end of December and I feel it growing inside without an answer. When I know what it is, I will be able to concentrate more on what thrills me and hopefully my strength will return with treatments. I am so sorry for those who may have wanted this completed as a Christmas gift.
I appreciate your understanding and would not have signed up had I known what laid ahead of me at the time.
Everyone, please have a Merry, Blessed, Healthy Christmas and New Year.
    Chris

So I sent Chris back a message extending my condolences and my heart felt prayers that she get better and I offered to help her finish the swap. I will be sending her an envelope to mail me the F8s she has received. I will turn them in to blocks and get them home to everyone ASAP. I will be sending her F8 out with finished blocks and ask you all to return her home a block as you can. Going through such tough medical issues is never easy-a squishy in the mail is a great uplift for spirits-I know firsthand!

Thank you all again-together with our friends we can get through anything!!
    Much Love & Huge Hugs
    April

Part of the fun for me is getting surprises in the mailbox all along, so my "vote" is to keep it like it is.

Even though I am not going to be in the next one, I would like to say, I really enjoyed receiving the individual blocks.

Quiltlin your block went out today, hope you like it, I did enjoy making it.
