I received a block from Norbanaquilts yesterday, it is very pretty. I am hoping to get some pictures taken soon. First thing this morning I fell down a full flight of stairs, that really sucked to say the least!

On a happier note, the school district agreed to pay for my sons school for this year and half of next year. The attorney thought that was a bit stupid so she is trying to get the other half of next year. Someday I am going to stop being bitter about how they treated us. That might be easier if we didn't have to pay so much to educate the kids that we hardly have money for food. Michael is on a new medicine that he says makes him happy. His therapies are going very well.

I can't wait for Christmas. In fact, one of my kids presents looks really fun, we may sneak and open it today :) I have a hard time waiting. I read the end most books when I get about half way though, I am very impatient!!!!!

Speaking of impatient, mbogenpohl , please don't worry about my block. Once you find out that all is well with the biopsy if you want to make a block for me, okay. If not, please don't. Quilting should be fun and bring joy and if it doesn't I don't think we should do it. I know how hard it is to wait for test results and I feel for you.

I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas!!!

Fryguymoore, Oh my goodness... a full flight of stairs? You ought to be in bed! Ouch, to say the least!

    I agree with your statement...

" Quilting should be fun and bring joy and if it doesn't I don't think we should do it. I know how hard it is to wait for test results and I feel for you."

Mbogenpoh, do what feels right to you. Hope you all feel better soon.

Goodness, Fryguy, things just starting to look up and you go and fall down a flight of stairs. Hope you are okay, and that you and yours have a Merry Christmas, and a special and better 2011.

Received a block from Nurse Bonnie, thank you.

Merry Christmas to all, and a very special 2011.

Received a wonderful block from Nurse Bonnie today! I also found a block I received from knlsmith on 12/16 while I was cleaning (moving stuff around on) my desk! lol I am not sure if I acknowledged it here, so I wanted to make sure I did.

They are both great and I will try to post pictures soon!

    :)

It's not to late for anyone else who wants to send me a note or PM to include with the Quilts of Valor I'm making from our swapped blocks.
    Happy Holidays!

Fryguymoore, Thank you for your note to me, it was very much appreciated. I do intend on getting everyone's block made for them mine will just be a little later than most. It makes me feel better that there is still alot in the swap still making and sending blocks out. But your right my health was and is my main concern right now I still have young children that I have to be well to take care of for many more years. I'm praying God gives me a good outcome on the biopsy, but if not then I will just have to keep on keeping on for my kids. I really enjoy making the blocks for everyone and I hope that everyone will enjoy them also. Thanks again for your concern! Hugs Michelle

I received a wonderful 9-patch from nursebonnie today! I love the color combination! Just my style!

I also gave my friend her quilt I had made from Boom blocks and she nearly cried! She loves it! I'll have to post a pic later but wanted to say thanks to all those who participated and helped me make a wonderful gift for a special friend!
