OMG! NOT YOU TOO! My SIL tells everyone I am God's older sister, that I walked to school with my pteradactlyl in tow, that my brain cells are older than dirt .... glad I don't have to live with that boy!

Gotta admit, his only redeeming quality (well, one of) is that he created my two adorable grandsons with my DD#1.

    And life goes on ....
Just remember ... "oldies" are "GOODIES" we may be old, but man are we good ;)

Oh I love my oldies-I am one too :-)
No the labels are just a fringe benefit and you do not have to use them-I just tried to make it as easy as possible so hands didn't cramp writing out so many envelopes :-)

reneebobby, just how polish are you? I'm 1/2, so there are definitely days when I can feel your pain! Seriously, I live in an area of Michigan with one of the largest polish populations outside the metro Detroit area ... in the spring, we've been known to put sap buckets on the telephone poles instead of the maple trees!

Robin & April, you're right. Just 'cuz I'm old doesn't mean I'm not "good" ... I keep telling my husband that he's got it pretty good to be married to me ... no one else would have put up with his nonsense for this long. I've EARNED every single one of these gray hairs on my head, and most of them are named Randy, Ashleigh, Rayechel and Caitlyn! HA!

Wedding cake Saturday, so my F8's won't be going out until next week. Have to press, cut, and package first. Won't even consider playing in my fabric stash until after I'm done getting all greased up with butter, eggs, and sugar! Anyone wanna come and sweat with me? The oven's on every night until Friday!

    Extra! Extra!
My F8 are in the mail box this morning!
    I am very exited.
Just out of curiosity; how much $ you put on the stamps? I went to the post office and I was told to use $0.64 to ensure handled manually and not through the machine, so I did and I wrote on teh envelopes NON-MACH as I was advised.
Hope they arrive in one piece!!

I am trying to mail merge but the first step is to type in the name and everything I type in says it can't be used. So I am going to dust off my pen and get busy! I am too frustrated already with mail merge.

reneebobby, I'm 1/2 on Mom's side ... she's about 95% with a tad of Russian tossed in somewhere in the background, I guess. But since I was adopted I grew up in a house where we didn't do anything Polish, necessarily. Funny thing, my husband who is mostly German descent makes wonderful Pieroghi, and I love to make Greek Baklava and French pastries when I get the opportunity. So we're a pretty international house!

And, no, this time it's not a whole lot of cake, only about 200 servings. Will actually finish baking tonight if all goes well. Baked the 2nd largest tier last night plus a birthday cake for Sat. Tonight I will bake the largest tier (16" x 2 layers), plus the 6" top tier (both Fudge chocolate chunk cake) and a 9" banana tier, then be done. Tomorrow I will frost and decorate, and deliver Sat. some time.

My house usually smells good when I'm in "pastry mode" ...

    No wonder I'm so "fluffy"!

You will have a better chance of them getting there in one piece. I didn't pay the extra 20 cents, I figure I'll send more fabric if they get eatin by the machine. For the block to be sent home I will definately be paying to extra. It is much more work to make another block than to buy more fabric!
