Mine went out today. No questions from the mailman-they see me quite often, I'm part of an on-line book swap and DVD swap so I bring in packages regularly. I did tell him it was something different then handed him the envelopes. I used the 6x9 envelopes with the clasps-because of the clasp they went no machine sorting so hopefully they'll all arrive in good shape. I am thinking of looking into the white 6x9-catalog envelopes, no clasps so no extra charge for hand sorting. My postman pointed out that the clasps-whether on the inside (under the flap) or closing the envelope it makes the envelope too thick. It ended up being around $.81 each, $1.20 to Canada-not too bad.
Can't wait to see what everyone's sending out!

All these baking ideas makes me think I should bake-made a hummingbird cake (banana and pineapple) last week. I'll probably break out the cocoa for some never fail brownies and ice cream!

10-15 below?? Ohhh makes me shiver just thinking about it! The lowest I have seen it here is right around 10 - 15 above zero! I have been up that way and it is so beautiful up there! My husband drives a truck over the road and I road with him for about 6 months (july-january) and omg I saw some really cold stuff! Heck we were broke down in Idaho on the side of a mountain in -23 degrees 90 miles from anywhere and no cell signal. 9 foot of snow and more falling! It was frightening for me! He is used to it, just another day at the office! He works for a company out of Minnesota so he is used to the snow and stuff. LOL i was there in december and they still had not gotten any snow and i was griping. I wanted to see snow! Then I saw enough and wanted to come home! A few weeks later we got a freak snow storm and got about 12 inches at home!
Gosh, I think I have been a stay at home mom with no outside contact for too long, I am just typing up a storm! It is awesome to be making friends!! You guys are all so great!
