Oh MJ-you are too funny! We are almost there only a few open spots to fill!
Lab Fairy-I need you to send me your information via PM to add you to the list :-)
Barb-of course you can be in on this one-so happy to see you back with us!!

As far as sending back the extra fabric generally you do not. You can use it in other blocks for other members if it works for it-no problem :-)

The best way to cut the F8 is to cut your fabric into 18" strips and then cut it in to 11" pieces. Hope this helps!
    Updating list of swappers now.

PS Thank you for making me smile!!! You are always so funny! I love you!
Whew! I'm awfully glad I checked in yesterday ... as soon as I saw this, I started to PANIC       because I didn't see my name on the list. :-( :-( I mean, I nearly dropped my teeth on the floor (and I don't have dentures, so you can just just imagine how much that hurt .......   (and how unattractive I'd be without teeth ..... ugh!)

    I nearly cried.

And then I realized that you didn't INTEND to leave me off the list ... it was just an oversight, right? I mean, I hoped that's all it was! Of course, it's a little tough to overlook the big lump in the front of the classroom (me), but I know you were probably looking away toward the horizon to find any NEW blood .....

That's why I was hopping up and down and waving and shaking my bootie......

so sorry to make the ground shake around you ... but I just HAD to get your attention somehow .....

Okay, I'm done pouting on this subject for now ... you're the best! Thanks for getting me on the list!

MJ -- hold your horses, girl! I know you're excited, but stop pressing your nose up against that window! Your poor husband is going to have to get out the Windex again...... Sit on the couch with you pompons ......

    Have a terrific day, ladies!

Haha you guys are funny. I can tell I'll have a lot of fun with this one already.

Quick question: If I want to send out fat eighths of all one fabric, how much yardage do I need? I calculated about 4.5 yards... is that right? My LQS is going out of business so if I fall in love with something I can get a great deal.

yes, 4.5 yards. Buy MORE if you want either sashing or borders.
I found that one out the hard way in Boom 1.0.
