Maybe this is too ambitious?

I received 3 squishies today:
Oatw13, KarenBarnes, and jlin.
I am getting quite a stack...I'll have to do something quick or they might start switching places...
I have Quilt Guild today but maybe I can start tonight...
Off to the Guild...[mumbles about the loud noise in the sewing room]

I think that sounds nice. I'd love to be one of your experiment/learning blocks. I've done a little bit of paper piecing, and once you get it going, its very nice. Gives you exact points and corners. I always hate to remove the paper later, so that is a drawback for me on doing paper piecing.

When I open the envelopes, I snip a tiny edge of the fabric and scotch-tape it to the envelope right next to the return address. As long as I keep the envelopes, I know which fabric belongs to whom.

OMGosh, 5 more squishies in the mail today!!! Oatw13, quiltergirl80, janecat, KathyN, shaysmema all of your squishies arrived safely, now to stash them with the rest until this week-end when I can be alone. I'm going to let them get aquainted with the others and don't worry I lectured all of them about changing places, visiting new envelopes, and the dangers of multiplying in the dark, so far all of them are playing nicely together. I'm trying to decide if they are having as much fun as I am with this swap. I think I have fabric and patterns picked out that they all agree with and as long as they don't get impatient on me and can wait for the week end I will be doing just fine.

Got squishies galore:great black and gold from oatw13--beautiful purple from Ok Darla(little bit disfigured, but sure and have enough for a block)---Lets quilts beautiful red 30's and nice white(I already know what this block is)---A beautiful periwinkle from Janecat(It is a chatty one, with great personality)---a beautiful purple floral from bibliostaone( it's very quiet, I don't think it likes to travel alone, have too send it home with a companion possibly, but it will be grown up, so it might not be so frightened)And from Shaysmema I received a beautiful dark green floral.---And --Drum roll-- I received two beautifully precious grown ups, one is a star with the most beautiful green hand dye, I love her so, thank you Shaysmema(I just figured out what your name is Shay's Mema, I can be a dope)----and last, but definitely not least I received a gorgeous hole in the barn door from Moonrise, I love the green polka dot you used to coordinate with my bold floral. Thank you all, I am having so much fun.
