I went to a great shop in Branson while we were vacationing. It didn't look like much from the outside, but inside it just went on and on with room after room of fabric.

OMGosh, I have been gone since Sunday afternoon and the squishies had way too much fun while I was away. I came back and my sewing room was buzzing with chatter and laughter. And my mailbox was just chocked full of squishes too, you could hear them chattering away when you walked by. I bet the neighbors were real curious as to what was going on in mail box. I received F8's from jlin52, cat18, hoppyfrog, norbanaquilts, and quilting Turtle. Quilting Turtle your envelope was almost totally destroyed but the F8 was safe, also just to let you know there was an additional 44 cents postage due on your envelope. And I received my very first grown up block!! It is from moonrise and it is beautiful, I love it!! I will post a pic later today. I also had my daughter mail out grown up blocks for me on Monday. They went out to Moonrise, OMGosh I am so nervous, I like it alot but my daughter didn't so I really really hope you do, and oatw13 your little boomerang is all grown up and winging its way back to you also. I love how it turned out so I hope you like it too. Can't wait to get to work on more later this morning.

Oh how I miss the chatter!! I remember when the squishies would chatter and fight for who got done first and what fabric they wanted to be made with-they were usually a very noisy bunch lol
It looks like shunt replacement will be end of September beginning of October for me so by round 4 I should be good to play with all of the fabrics and friends again. I so wanted to be in every swap of the Boomerang that was ever hosted but life had different plans lol
I am so happy to see the "newbies" having fun and getting in to the Boomerang spirit-that warms my heart. The work all of you ladies do always impresses me. The color combinations, the piecing, the different blocks-I just love love it all!!
As always I am here if anyone needs anything :-)
