OMGosh here is a pic of my very first born grown up block from Moonrise. I had to use my cell phone because one of my DD's are borrowing my camera. The polka dot fabric is brown and the pinwheel is green and the orange is my fabric. Moonrise you did an awesome job. Isn't it beautiful? I love it. Thank you so much!!

You ladies really are the best!!!
The shunt will be going in the brain this time around-which scares me but I have complete faith in my surgeon so that helps. I will be strong and persevere through this. I am so glad you all are here for me...it means so much! I will need you all to lean on and it helps to know you will be here.

I am with your knlsmith, first time and feel overwhelming as well but I decided to work on one at the time. I feel bad because I see others receiving and sending right back which I cannot do. I think I've found the way around this one! I have a book that has blocks that come out 6" finished and so I just make 4 of them and put it together! No math! It's really the hardest part of quilting for me (other than color coordination). I took the book with me on my trip, so now just to go home and make the ones that I picked! :)
