I got 2 beautiful blocks in the mail today.

Wendsy- from the one you sent I never would've guessed batiks aren't your thing. It's wonderful!

Ksea- I can see why you'd want to keep the block! It's wonderful. I appreciate the border fabrics... I'll let them sit together for a while and work out what they want me to do.

Wow Moonrise your quilt is busy, but very beautiful. Miss Giggles your blocks are wonderful. MegsAnn, both of those blocks are spectacular. It's amazing to me how people read the material so differently from others. Wendsy went with light batiks, and ksea went with the darks. When I took psychology they said you could read a person from the color choices they chose, I can't remember a thing from it mow. 20 years ago. lol

LOL moonrise, I am afraid she gets that from her owner... a little shy at first then when she sees something she wants, she doesnt take no for an answer!!! I wouldn't know anyone like that at all. Just dont ask my husband, lol!
I am so excited to see your block. I have set the whole day today aside just to play with all my squishies. Other than wood puttying holes in my floor so i can lay tile, I have nothing on my agenda for the day. I sent my first block out yesterday to Kathy N. Hope you like it! It wanted to stay here but I set it free... back to mama.

MegsAnn I am so glad that you like your block, isn't it funny how may different looking blocks you can get from the same fabric. I have been on a dark fabric kick for a little while now, I love my life so I don't think it is a reflection of my emotions but just a new direction.

WOW! Your butterfly board full is looking wonderful. You'll be getting my block in a few days. I have a growing pile of envelopes I need to take to the post office, so they can wind their way home.

Tracy, your block was a l'il stinker! ;) First she wouldn't talk to me, but as soon as I opened the door where my fabric stash is, she immediately pointed to one fabric in particular. I told her sorry, that I was saving that fabric for another project, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. She was right, though. The fabric had her name all over it! So, in the end, she won. ;) Hope you like how she turned out!

And here are the two blocks missgigglewings sent me! Aren't they pretty!

I received grown up blocks from Goldendog55 and Jlin52!

It amazes me how people from all different areas of the country and Canada can find those perfect fabrics and all of them blend so nicely!

I also have grown-up blocks all packaged up and ready to be mailed for: KnlSmith, QuiltLin, Hoppyfrog, Ksea, Oatw13, and JLin52. These will be in the mail within a few days, I'm trying to get a few more done, I have 8 F8s with their matching fabric ready to be cut!
