I got 1/2 yards of each (there were 14) except I bought all of the stripes-I think there was a yard and a half left on the bolt. I will use that as the binding. ;) I would have loved to have bought at least a yard of each but couldn't.

She just loves it, pets it and puts it in her collection. I joked with her about her will but she said it's no laughing matter... her son knows which ones of her quilter friends to call when she dies - it's all written down!
Here at MFQS we have what I call a "stash exchange". Customers bring in fabric from their stash and as long as it's at least 1 yard, is not washed, quilt shop quality and is from a non-smoking home we measure it, board it and give them $2.50 store credit for each yard. We re-sell it for $5/yd so we always have some less expensive (but not lesser quality) fabric. I hate the higher prices now and I don't want any of our customers to be priced out of quilting!
