quilted horse-- i just went back to look at fancy folk more closely. i love your embellishment! as i was looking i realized that your avatar is probably an art quilt, too and it's beautiful! i think lots, if not all, of us would love an art block or two from this swap. i know i would be thrilled by one! no reason we can't let our inner matisse out! you do beautiful work!

Been lurking and admiring the gorgeous blocks - been extremely busy at work with lots of overtime, however, vacation next week - hopefully will get most of the grown up blocks done and out the door - Once I get organized on Monday I will let you know who's grown up blocks I've received (5 of em).

i just had a lovely surprize! my husband walked in with a large bag of yarn and fabric. one of our friends who quilts was evidently given these things and so she took what she wanted and shared the rest. my sainted sister knits prayer shawls and baby blankets. when she comes next to visit i will have a lovely treat for her! and now i have a lovely treat for me! i have started a baby quilt with some precuts from wm. decided i wanted sashing but wasn't thrilled with anything from my stash, it's still limited. but i found the perfect fabric in the bag. YAY! isn't it nice when things work out?!thank you, beth!, where ever you are!!
