Received three beautiful blocks this week from Nancia,AuntSue, and one that visited Aunt Sue from Carol Hupp. All the blocks are great, thank you all. Now the count is down to 6: bookworm,Karen,Katy, Keesha-ont,lovingizabella, and mistiliz. What a wonderful swap this has been.

actually, with hurricanes, fire, tornadoes, health issues and new babies, we all had valid reasons for being late! a good hostess will spill her wine if one of her guests has so that the gaffe is covered. you were being a good hostess!

I apologize for being behind on getting all the blocks out, I finally will have some time...if I haven't already packed the fabric I need...to finish as many blocks as I can over the next few days. I finally sold off the last of the big "can't move" items and now all I have to do is go sign over a title on Monday, then find another house and get moved. I am having a hard time going through 14 years of accumulated "stuff" and deciding what to get rid of and what to keep. ANYWAYSSSS I am sorry and will try to pull my head on straight and get back to sewing.

i think this is an exceptional swap. so many life crises have occurred for our members that we perhaps should leave the end date open for now. i understand there are those who need to finish their quilt for some commitment they've made, while others of us have no immediate plan for our blocks. perhaps those who have to have their block by a certain time should let the members know you need them. i don't get the sense that anyone is just being lazy and not doing their blocks.

It's 3 am and this is a momentary break from sewing. Those who needed there's done soonest are now done so if there is anyone else speak up or I will grab a baggie with the block instructions and cut fabrics and sew until I am done then move to the next one. I have really enjoyed this but am tremendously behind. I promise to do better if I am ever allowed to play again. Whst a GREAT group of Quilty ladies you all are. So glad I found you.
