The postmistress weighed a few and told me they would go for $.44. I was expecting to pay $.64 each. But I did get one damaged envelope.

It is crazy how every post office is different! Ours is different every single swap, too! I just pay what they say. lol I think it balances out in the end.

    I received F8's from goldendog55, hobbykat1955, bookworm, and difergie. :)
The fabrics are all great. :)

Another almost-victim -- gotta love the good ole' P,O. cause the street name is gone! but the coding at the bottom saved it from being returned to Judy -- fabric is fine, thanks to Goldendog's heavy plastic bag.

I have done well over 200 block swaps, and this is my very first wrecked package, so I guess those odds aren't too bad!

Look forward to working on your fabric, Judy.

Ok everyone I got all of my fabrics in the mail this morning. I am sending everyone navy or orange. I am asking that blues, oranges or white be used as this is going to be a gift for a man. Please no "girly" fabrics. He prefers blues and orange.

Wow! I'm sure glad that envelope made it through!

    Today, I received f8s from:

    Aunt Sue
    Difergie

My mail lady sure laughs at me! She has to get out of her car and bring these envelopes to me, since I am doing 2 swaps, I have quite a few coming in and going out, and they don't always fit in my large mailbox. She tells me this is what keeps her job for her!

I'm not sure (I think I did.. but not sure) if I stated in my little note, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't use batiks in blocks for me please.

I don't see those names on my list so you must be doing more than one swap.

my first swap and I am so excited. but, that being said; I already goofed. I was told a fat 8th was 9x22 so I already cut my fabric up. Then I read the boomarang thread and see that it is supposed to be 18x11. Shall I excuse myself and return the few squishies I received? If I don't see an answer soon I will bug April. AGAIN
    sorry
