Judy - Thank you! The name of that block is "Mary's Block" and is is from Carol Doak's book "40 Bright & Bold Paper Pieced Blocks". The block I did for you is from the same book and it is called "Beth's Block"....all the blocks in this book have womens names. I LOVE to do paper piecing!
You are quite welcome! Carol Doak is my favorite and I'm even Facebook friends with her! I started out quilting with a paper piecing pattern and have been hooked ever since...I just taught my first class at our Guild too. That was a bit scary but I have a couple girls who are hooked already so it was worth it! I get alot of my books from Ebay or Amazon...alot cheaper!

It was landscapes (trees, houses, etc.), with each scene in its own little square. Very pretty fabric! I think she was just shy about telling me what she wanted to be when she grew up. She became rather chatty, though, once we got started! :D ;)
I received the same fabric...she took awhile to open up to me too. Not very willing to talk at first. I figured her out just need to put it together :-)
