i had a rude awakening yesterday. i made a block from a much used source and it came out 1/2 inch too small. i checked cutting sizes, seam sizes and all were accurate. and of course, the fabric had been pre-shrunk. is there anything i missed?

me, too, di fergie! i ended up putting a border around it so there would be a seam allowance. wacko! is there anything else i could have done?(aside from throwing it away with the book?) lol (not really)

Not such a good day here today either. It could be worse and so i am grateful it was as minor as it was. Got a ticket on the way to work. Drag but it won't ruin my day. It could be so much worse. Still faBric would make it better. Right after I finish this seafood enchilada.
