If you'd like to add the flannel in, that's ok with me. :) It'll add some texture and interest.

If you don't want to, and would prefer to just use cotton, works for me too. :D

Recieved a beautiful block from Jennifer22206, I love it. I did manage to get a couple made last night, will try to get them out by Fri. I am too tired tonight, but had a wonderful time having the whole family in for dinner. Am also getting ready for a vacation that I leave for on Sat. I seem to have so much to do, but am loving this boom, I want to sign up again!!!

Jennifer I am amazed at the block you made. I sent the wrong letter out! For the spring exchange I did a bright fabric and wanted bright colors....

Some how in my mail merge I accidently sent half of you the wrong letter. Asking to make a block with bright colors! UGH... But I am amazed that you actually found a bright color that picked up the rose tone in my fabric. How cool! And the block from Linda same thing you picked out a bright color that really managed to make the block look good.

So see how things manage to turn out for the good even if they started on the wrong foot!

SO If you have not started my block and got the message that says use bright colors, I really don't want them! Unless they look good like these two blocks. I really prefer the muted tones in the fabric! PM me if you have any other questions!

    Happy quilting.

    Marybeth
When i saw your paper that said bright colors with that fabric,i thought oh well everyone has a different flair with color, i didn't go to bright glad you liked it.

flannel does add texture and interest. i use flannel, wool, velvet & suede feel fabrics in my quilts at times. it adds to the comfy "feel" of the quilt imho.

I show that I still need to send F8s to the following (If you are NOT on this list I will assume that you have received your f8 from me...if not please let me know.) I will be sending them out today! Thanks, Connie
Still need to send F8s to:
    goldendog55
    Jennifer22206
    Kris2011
    moonrise
    poker diva
    sandynorm
    sew1096
I am sending you the Housework Whenever complimenting flower print by Sharon Yenter for In the Beginning. I have the black and white character print that I will be using for alternating blocks. If you haven't seen it you owe it to yourself to take a peek. This is one that I think I'll end up keeping for myself just because I love it so; it makes me happy whenever I look at it. Here is a link so you can check it out! :) Thanks for helping me with this! http://quilttaffy.blogspot.com/2009/...-giveaway.html

I will use the flannel, I think it is 100% cotton anyway. it has such a warm feeling to it! I will send you the leftovers after I make your block, you might want to use it somewhere else in your daughters quilt.
