Had a colonoscopy and EGD and found out he has cancer in both places. Today we met with all the doctors and discussed treatment. They will take out the colon cancer next week, he will be in the hospital for 4-5 days. then he will need chemo and radiation for the esophageal cancer. If they can shrink the cancer they will be able to take it out. And he could beat both of these. It will be a long process but God will help us through it. I have to keep sewing to keep my mind off of this. Life just isn't fair. But at least we might be able to beat this killer.
Please keep David in all your prayers.

Three blocks arrived home this week...
Jennifer22206 combined beautiful green jewel tones with the fabric to make it pop...
Marybeth made a God's Eye done in greens and an eye popping pink...this one will be looking over me...
PokerDiva made what I would call electric blue that blends with the fabric

islandwiz, I am praying for you and your husband, I also pray that the doctors hands are lead by God. Sewing is a very good outlet. And I agree it totally puts things back into perspective.
No squishes here, I am working on blocks to head home in the morning, had to take a break from block making to work on a memory quilt order. I will try and catch up on my picture posting this weekend.

Islandwiz, I am sending you all my thoughts and prayers at this terrible news. I too have cancer. A postive attitude means so much in this battle. Take care of yourself as I know you will be taking care of David.
Peace and Blessings,

Havplenty, I received my beautiful block and your F8. Just a heads up if you still have more to mail, your stamps were holding on by a thread. They made it but just barely LOL.
