    Hello everyone,
Just a quick note to let you all know your prayers helped . David went through the surgery well. The doctor imformed me he was able to get all of the colon cancer out. He also removed his gall bladder and his appendix so he would not have any problems there. He did not need the colostomy bag (what a relief that was) he does have a feeding tube in his stomach for when they start chemo his esophagus might close up. Thank you again to all of you for your prayers.
God listened to all of us.

The new format seems harder to me. I'm struggling with it and it seems harder to stay in touch with each other. I keep thinking that it'll 'click' one of these days. Hanging in there!

Received f8s from mosher, lillie, ully. Sorry so late in letting you know, just so busy at this moment getting ready for longarm, craft show, and college kids. Will slow up and get on these next week and start sending out f8s. You may get all kinds of different fabrics from me because I have a large issue here, I have so many projects started that I can't buy fabric anymore until those are done. Well, you guessed it, you will all get pieces of left overs from the scrap pile to make my blocks. They will add to my scrap quilts that I dearly love.
Glad to hear the good news islandwiz1.

glad to hear this great news carolyn! what a relief. when the chemo starts it can be rough the first coupla days but hang on, it gets better. will they also do radiation for the throat area or just chemo? take some relaxing material with you (i.e. mags, books [crossword, on tape], relaxing music on mp3) when you both go for the chemo. sometimes it can take a few minutes to get through the process. something relaxing for both of you may help ease the time.
