Well, I'm going to think about sticking around. I just discovered something on this board, so I'll know when someone has said something. I discovered it by accident today when I was trying to do something else. If you go to your profile, I think, underneath are some boxes to check. I think it says something about adding a subscription. You can click on the boxes that are for the active swaps you are in. I clicked the 2 Boomerangs I am in. You get a choice of receiving immediate posts or a daily digest, just like on other groups I am in, such as Yahoo. So, now when people on the group are talking, I will know right away! Another piece of good news, a lady is coming over this weekend to help me with my sight and to learn, again, to do things that I like to do. All you have to do is put up with my typing mistakes now! And to think, when I taught quilting, I used to teach some of the students that had sight problems, teaching them what kinds of products to use so that they could keep quilting! Never knew I'd have to use it myself!

I had a horrible night and day! My DD had my car and ran over a board in the road causing the driver rear to go flat and the driver front to be low on air (per computer readout). Now I have an all wheel drive Subaru, which I love, but that means that I have to buy 4 tires every time. So I spent the day in town getting tires put on and since I was there I got an oil change and new wiper blades. Not what I wanted to do this close to Christmas but..oh well at least it's done.

But the good part was that when I got home I had 3 squishies waiting. I received my blocks from - ljdugas31 - marytoddliz - PokerDiva. They are all wonderful. Thank you so much ladies. I'm going to try to post a picture here (if I can figure it out) and put one in my album.

Toddler asleep in my lap ... surfing the web but I really want to be quilting!

I did clean up off the floor in my sewing office, though - toddler keeps dumping out my scrap bins, and I have to keep moving them up higher. Running out of space.

Joyce D, I tried to PM you, but the computer wouldn't let me. You sent me a block with ladybugs, which aren't mine, but are probably belongs to Jane Cat. Is it OK to just send it to her? Also, the envelope was all mangled by the PO, and they had to put it in one of their envelopes.

Hi from Sultan, WA! Yes I'm back in WA but now how that awful cold/flu that everyone's had here! Grrrrrrrr....have completely lost my voice! (may be a blessing to family members! lol) Anyway I am cancelling my trip to CA so will be here til Jan 5. What is going on with your sight? !!!! Last I heard you were going in for surgery....on your foot? I do hope you're ok!!! Please get in touch with me. I will try to find your phone # but then again I have to wait til I can talk again. DD just called from TX and I couldn't even talk to her. Blessings, my friend!
