I'd like to help but with the booms I always use sashing. That way you don't have to worry about matching seams or which way the seams a pressed.

Still need F8 from Quilter Momma, last of my blocks are going out tomorrow. Let me know if you have not received a block from me. I had some of my blocks miss marked~
I have received 12 blocks, I think I will have a great spring quilt! Can't wait to see the rest!

Was thinking maybe a jacob's ladder, but not sure, any other ideas of a good setting 12" block?
Just a quick question: Why would sashing not work? I have never been in a situation where sashing didn't work. Just curious....

QuilterMomma, I plan on using sashing on my quilt too but then this is my first one so I may change my mind when I see them all together. But how about a simple snowball block between the others. It would give you some nice space for quilting too.

Sashing would have to be bulky to make the quilt large as I want. I have to make blocks anyway because I did not send out enough of the fabric to make the quanity of squares I needed for the size I wanted. I did not plan well. I will this time. I am sending a white fabric out this time so then I will not run into this for the next one. At least I think that. Working on blocks now and sending f8 with grown-up block.

Good news, got all my f8s cut and working on grownup blocks so will get them out asap. i do aplogize for being the last to send out f8s. Let life get in way I guess.

As for my other blocks from last Boom, Laura Heine has a border template that I am going to use and put the blocks on point with two different colors for the corners so makes an hourglass look. When i get it done, will post photo so you may see. I looked at tute on posting photos to size. Think I may figure it out. I am sending out 35 of the same fabric this time with a white so will have a different look. Will be able to just use a sashing inbetween them on this one from Boom 6. Will be interesting for sure. Well back to work. thank you for help and understanding.
