i've started to work on the centers i'll be using to go with the blocks.

one is a blue & white only quilt

one is a red & white only quilt

and the other is a black & color wheel quilt


then i have a bunch of 30s and feedsack fabric that i'll send out - i just have to figure out the center for that fabric.

Yes she does quilt! Her DH is attending the Gen. Theology School so they live near there. She only knows a few people from the school and from they apartment bldg. I'll try and get her to sign up here on the boards

I was wondering if there is a rule about using only cotton? I bought some FQ's and some of my stash went really well with the colors, but they are a cotton poly blend. Is it ok to use this?

I use the blend often in my quilts but I know some quilters don't like blends.

But I figure it is for my quilt, what is the thought?
