    marytoddliz - I don't mind using a blend, I use them in my own personal quilts, but I won't use them for other peoples.

    Maybe if you have a backup plan, and when you get your group assignment PM everyone and ask what they'd think. I would write it down that they're a blend though

    i ordered from them today also. i hope there will be some fabric lines i like in at least one of the bags, well maybe two of the bags :-). i shall see soon enough.

    So did I! I have been looking for some fabric from Cedar Chest line, they had them and on sale for $5 a yard! So thanks so much for the link!

    I realized I have enough of the 100% cotton to send out, I will use the blends for borders. I also discovered why they are a pain... When I washed all my fabric the blends really clung to the strings in the washer! I usually don't pre wash, that must be why LOL

    martoddliz--Definitely think one should check with the group to make sure the other quilters don't mind blends. Personally I only use 100% cotton, except when using Minkie, which is 100% polyester, which isn't that often.

    i prefer 100% cotton too but i do work with 100% silk often.
