April I would love to help but I am pretty busy with stuff and was pushing it by taking this, but I couldnt resist. Mine are washed and cut too. I will get in envelopes and put a note intoday and will be ready when addresses come, but there is really no rush I am sure we all can wait if you need a rest! is there anything I can help with? I have broken toes too and they are painful since there is nothing we can do except cut holes of of shoes so there is not pressure! Ouch!

i have used up to $.64 and the ones i have received back are about $.64 also.
This is generally too much unless it is real bulky. Usually the most is $0.61 unless going internationally.

But it is 100% cotton!
Since most of my stash is fabric that I have gotten over the last 30+ years, some of it I have no idea if it is 100% cotton. Is there a test I can do to make sure? I would hate to have to buy new fabric for every block I make just to make sure it is???
Sorry for the dumb questions but was just wondering, don't want to make a mistake!

Hi there, I created a thing that helps you determine how much postage to put on the envelopes (plus a slider to test if your envelope is thin enough for the cheaper rate).
Here's the link:

Hope it helps - print it out, cut out the square and slide your envelopes through. Some of the post offices have a tool that they share - mine won't share it.
