What a wonderful idea to use those FQ's. They go together so well!
I found it really difficult to jump into the block when there were too many restrictions put on them (anything other than color). Just send them out into the world and see what comes back. I'm new at quilting. I did send a lot of stars but the fabric really had to call for it. :-)

Maybe ask for neutral creme color to go with them?
Then put together as a scrappy "western" theme quilt?
I know we aren't suppose to say which block but I really like "star" blocks. Could I make that suggestion?

nice fabrics. part of the rules address asking for certain blocks. see below:
3) You may advise the person of colors you would prefer they use or not use but please do not request specific blocks.
the blocks made i believe are suppose to be the maker's choice. i know i am not the biggest star block fan but that is my taste.

Thanks for the advice! I will only suggest what I plan to do with the blocks once returned. It will be fun to see what each person chooses to do with the fabric they received.
I'm so excited about this, can't wait to get started on my first Boomerang swap!
