What size do you do your strips ?

I aim for about 4" square, so more or less 1.75" each for the top, middle and bottom. I would hazard a guess that you could easily do a 6" square for the same price. It all depends on how tightly pressed you get the envelope and fabric.

Ooh! I like the idea of a siggy block with the quilt blocks! :thumbup: Maybe I can get a few made to go with my fabric. I got my fabric chosen and washed this afternoon - something I had forgotten was in my stash, but will be a bright, colorful start for blocks. So I figure another afternoon to get things ready. When do we get our group list? Or am I jumping the gun here? Mmmm -- just like me. :lol: Can't wait to see who I will be exchanging with, and what their fabric is.

We'll get our group lists a day or two after sign ups close. April is REALLY good about getting them out to us quickly. She emails us the file.

How about if everyone types up a brief statement telling us about yourself, your favorite style/blocks, colors, etc. It is nice to make a block with a person in mind. Cheers, Dotty

I will have lists out within two days of sign-ups closing. I am going through the listing now to see if we have even groups or if we still need a few more swappers. If we have even groups I will close signups and have lists out by the end of the weekend, otherwise next week.

That is not a bad idea but you may want to include it with your fabric because it will get lost in the thread eventually and people will forget who wrote what. If people want to put that in with their F8s that is perfectly fine.
