Wow, my list says I'm still watching this group, but haven't received a word since signing up. I have a lot of catching up to do!

Received my fabric today. Will wash and cut it tomorrow and be ready to mail when we get the list.

Great idea Dotty to include a note with our f8's. Something else I will get ready this weekend. Can't wait to get started!

Very nice fabric, I am putting together my envelopes and I am adding a note, this is so much fun, I have made 3 practice blocks and I even found an error on one pattern!

At first I was really stumped but am glad to say I worked it out and ended up with a great block. The pattern is called Square and compass, the pattern that was wrong was a quarter circle, but the instructions referred to a 1/8 circle. I tried running with the 1/4 but it was too small. After working on it a bit I realized I had to add 1/2 inch more for seam allowance. Results was a perfect Block. I was really excited to have figured it out thou!

my Fabrics for the swap, I am using an Orange and a turquoise for the sashing and borders.

    Congrats on finding the error!

Oh I LOVE the bright selections! Great idea to sash with solids. That's going to look wonderful!

I'm quilting a baby blanket I have in the works first. But I have the selections washed and ready to cut for this boom.

Love all the fabric it is very pretty. I wish I could post pictures, but I have dial-up internet and it takes approx. 25 minutes to send 1 picture, and that's if it doesn't crash and I have to start all over again. Does anybody have any ideas of anything that would make it faster to send?
