I now have six finished blocks for the Spring group finished and ready to mail.
Those who should be looking in their mailbox are:

    Jillnjo
    yayaquilts
    hoppyfrog
    marytoddliz
    babeyruth
    Sewhappy30

All of these are so bright and cheery and lots of fun to do.

I would like to post all of them ASAP, but will wait to hear from you till Monday nite - if you let me know that NO you DO NOT want me to post a picture now, (and you will post it when you receive it)I will wait to post it.

Otherwise, I will post the picture as soon as I am able. I think it is important for all of us to share what we have done. So I will be glad to post it unless you tell me no.

Well, today I am joining a few friends for the local shop hop. I hope to find coordinating fabrics for all your beautiful f8s! Then tomorrow I can sew, sew, sew!

    Have a great day, everyone!

Just finished dconroy84's block, another first time block for me, I'm impressed with myself. I find when I'm working with someone elses fabric I tend to be much more careful and try to do it right the first time, seems to work for me so far. Oh no...I hope I didn't just jinx myself.lol

Me too! And there is a really good article in the newsletter today about accurate stitching! Since I have never worked with any one elses fabric before I guess I have been pretty sloppy about being accurate... Now it is back to bite me!

Trying to keep that block 12 1/2 inches is a killer when trying a new block! I have been practicing on my daughters sewing machine while the baby naps! I had no idea that my 1/4 inch seam could vary so much!!!!!

I was thinking a couple of my blocks would be at their owners home by now, but did the mail go today? I am taking a bit of a break this week from these blocks and finishing 2 very small projects. Having fun-one way or the other!!!

I don't think there is no mail today - President's day or something.

Columbus Day, and everyone here still has to work... so I get to have my grandaughter to my self today! such a greedy grandma! We are going to go to the park, with the rain just sprinkles, figured it will be fun for her and for me! Have a wonderful day!
I am looking forward to going home tomorrow, I miss my hubby and my cats, and although I love being Grandma, it sure wears me out!
