[QUOTE=Havplenty;4638053]jillnjo if you have photo editing software on your computer such as picasa you can resize photos. whatever software you use to view pics on your computer may have editing capabilties attached to it. you will just need to save your pic by another name after editing if you dont want the original pic changed. i keep all of my "changed" photos in a different folder just for this board.

also in another swap that i am in, one of the participates posted the below notice to assist with resizing photos. i haven't used it because i use picasa or hp software to edit my photos. the participates on that thread who have tried the software in the below attached message said that it is easy to use and works great. good luck.

There is a download you can get that will make resizing your
pictures MUCH easier. I have been using it for YEARS (or
since it came out for Windows XP).

It is really easy to use. After you download and install all
you have to do is RIGHT click on a picture and select the
"Resize Pictures" you will get a pop up window that will let
you select from one of THREE options OR you can even do
a custom resize. You can even select if you want it to resize
the original picture or make a resized copy.

Here is the LINK for downloading the program. ONLY download
IF you have Windows Vista or 7. If you are still using Windows XP
you will need to get the older version.

Here is the link for the XP version of the picture resizer
Good luck and I HOPE this may help some (or all) of you who
seem to be having troubles with resizing.

I would like to know if this helps an
Thank you! Sigh........yes, this answered my question about posting pictures!!! A simple download and it works!

Since returning from our vacation north, I've been busy sewing! I finished all the blocks I had fabric for the Spring boomerang. I also put borders on a lap quilt for my mom's Christmas present, and pieced and quilted a table runner for my sister-it just needs binding!!

Tomorrow I will mail 7 finished boomerang blocks to:
    Quilt mom
    dungeonquilter
    deltadawn
    troy26
    KathyN
    and babeyruth!

Hope you all like your blocks. (I've taken pics of these blocks if any of you need me to post it for you-just let me know. My daughter showed me how to resize them so they can be uploaded to QB!)
I have really had fun choosing the patterns and fabrics to coordinate with your fabrics! I think I just need a F8 from brenda.

I received F8 from deltadawn today. Will mail blocks to: hoppyfrog, jilnjo, Kathy N and sewhappy30 tomorrow.
I forgot to take pics before sealing the envelopes, so please post pics when you receive them.

    Hi All,

I have finished making blocks for what I have. I am still missing F8's from Brenda21 and deltadawn. So you can take a sneak peek at yours if you click on my signature below for Spring group. I received a block from Bolin0909! Wonderful colors!
