Brenda I got your fabric today, very cute, it will be fun to work with.

I finished my quilt top today! I made a few changes, I decided to use the striped fabric I had purchased for the back to use as a border, and I am going to make a semi patchwork backing. What made me change my mind was the "girls" at my quilt club thought I should try it that way and I was sold. I will post some pictures when I am done, it is on the table now getting pinned to be quilted.

I am going to keep it for the twin bed in my sewing room. The colors are so bright and sunny I smile every time I look at it.

I am also done! Finished Brenda21's block today, it will go in the mail in the morning. Now I just get to wait for all my pretties to come home! As soon as I find my camera in this mess, I will post picture, also quilt is ready for binding! I know I have that camera somewhere in this mess! I need a maid today! my sewing room looks like there was a sale! I think the fabric jumps off the shelves!

My husband made me the most awesome table top. It is a sheet of plywood cut to 48 X 80 covered with batting and with canvas. I put it on top of two Ironing boards and use it to layer my quilts, we also use it to hold fabric off the floor! do you ever notice that any surface manages to get stacks of fabric on top of it! OK I am going to get off computer and clean up my mess now. Well before I start my next project!

I have finished all the blocks except for Brenda's and mine. They will be in the mail tomorrow (post office is closed today). Just waiting for Brenda's F8 to get hers done.

Dungeonquilter, I found out the PO was closed today, walked down to check mail but no mail! But I did put my last two blocks in the slot, will go out tomorrow.

I am going to work on my DIL's quilt today. She loves Strawberry Shortcake (remember the character from the 80's) so I found some fabric, it is so cute. So all the pieces are cut time to start sewing. I sure hope she likes it!

Finally, things will settle down to a dull roar! I have three blocks to finish, including dconroy, brenda21 and one for myself. I will get on it today. I hope brenda's f8 is in today's mail. I still have not received it...
