I think shades of browns to tans would look good. I do not know but I may even look for another cowboy print with tone on tone. Maybe even a pop of gold.

Can't wait to see the finished quilt. I really liked how the block looked with the white and the tan lil swirly fabric. Hope it fits in with the others for you. Good luck on your quilt. I love that light tan color-would look good as sashing. Black too or you may not want that dark of a fabric.

Hey Sharon b, here is the block you never received and then the new block I am mailing tomorrow.
Maybe one day in a few years, the "lost block" will show up totally unexpected! lol

I'm glad Sharon. I won't be doing any booms for quite a while. I am hoping to start school in May and trying to finish this blasted house. We are so close to being done. Close to laying carpet, close to setting the kitchen cabinets. Ugh.....I so want my kitchen!!!!! So, I won't have time to be sewing any extra that is for sure. Plus, I need a room of my own. Going to have to pack up all my stuff so I can get the carpet laid in our master bedroom. That's where I've had it all. Maybe....I'll get the little laundry room in the basement. I just want space to call my own!!

Angie, I received you block today and I opened it and had it on the dining table while I ate lunch and my DH came by and said that the block was "neat". So you passed his inspection. Thank you. Was that the block from Craftsy? I made one of those. This was the last for my creepy crawlies only waiting for one more bug.

Angie sorry you can't do the next one What are you going to school for ? Home repair is the pits ... unless you are getting a room when it is all finished

Angie I will have to check out that site you mentioned those are some really neat blocks
