I don't have any batik in my stash, and I know that I need some for the Boom, but I can't afford it at those prices.

So, can ya'll help me out with a website or something I can order a 1/4 yard, or a 1/2?

Block and F8 going out to Jennifer tomorrow. Have 4 more to finish and 6 F8's to send out. This swap seems to be really going alot faster than the last one! Also block going out tomorrow to moonwork42029 along with F8.

joanelizbay-- you are so smart piggy-backing the f8 with the grown up. never would have thought of doing that! of course, it only works when others send theirs out first. this boom is going much faster than the last one. i wasn't counting on that! i thought i had lots of time but i can see people want to get it done before the holidays really hit.

lol...if you can get here by about 9am CST, come on down.

We live about 6 miles from Kentucky Dam and have a pontoon so Dad can get on and off of it easier. In the past I have picked up Dad when I got off work and went fishing (just on the bank). One day I went to toss my line and caught the back of my jeans...my Dad had to cut my jeans to get the hook out because every time I moved the hook jabbed my rear end. I don't think I've ever heard him laugh so hard.

I know what you mean about them finishing up the blocks so fast..it's great. I have all of "4" finished and thought I was doing great.

I didnt aim to "piggyback" the F8's but it has worked out great! My twin brother was back home, lst time in 20 years the week the swap started so I was late in even buying my fabric to send out. My sister in law was looking at all the blocks I have stacked up from the last swap and the blue/white sampler blocks Im making and said she loved purple so I decided to get purple to make her a quilt! God sure has a way of letting us know what to do! Anyhow, before I bought my fabric people were sending their F8's and I was making them and just decided to send my F8 at the same time! I think I have 6 to mail out Monday is all and thats pretty darn good out of 35 people! Ive only gotten one finished block and havent seen but one or two post that they have received the one I made them yet. Hope the post office gremlins arent eating them! Way to go ladies!

Looks like There are only 4 more F8ths to receive before all are accounted for! So I'm keeping an eye out for deltadawn, fabric_fancy, joanelizbay, and nancia. No rush, just giving an update so those that want to know their fabric is received will :)

Still waiting to hear from 8 of the 9 that haven't said they received my f8th ( I know one of you didn't get it because the label came off and I got it in the mail!) Can't send it back til I know who it goes to! lol

Would you please let me know if you received a F8th from me:
    girlscouts1
    goldendog55
    janecat
    kris 2011
    mosher92
