    I am awaiting F8's from:

NO rush, I have not started sewing yet. My sister is here until November 1st with her dogs, there is hair everywhere. I can't stand hair while I am sewing. When she leaves I will be cleaning and sewing.

Ummm I'm having that issue with a paper piece now, and I don't have the fabric to fix the problem...so with that said what do you do when you can't fix something and have no more of the other person fabric to finish her block??

I'm still trying to make it work, I think I bit off more than I can chew...LOL on this block..

    But it was so pretty!

Absolutely! There is one block I am stuck on right now and have decided to set aside for a few days to rest. I even had a hard time figuring out which way to assemble it correctly. Once I finally did it was done within a short timeframe, but now one seam won't line up and not sure how to adjust it. And since we don't have more fabric to work with, I just can't give up and start fresh...

I chose to work on some simpler blocks for a few days and then try returning to the challenge tomorrow evening. We will see if I can figure it out.

    Good luck with your challenge!

I am finally posting the pics of the first 12 blocks that I received! The first pic is one of them all together. As you can tell their all playing quite nice together:) Sorry it took me so long to show off such beautiful work  I only hope I can do just as much justice to your fabrics!

Maybe you can contact the person and ask if they have any more of the fabric to send you? I know if you asked me and I had it, I would have no problem sending more to you.

I got it finished I picked a 12.5 paper piece pattern, got it all together and it ended up being a 10.5 block....I hated to add a border around it to make it 12.5 block but I didn't know what else to do! I still think it came out pretty...

Sorry if I mess up some one wanting to wait to take a peek, but I had to share this booger of a block...LOL
