You guys are funny! QM keeps reminding me that I have binding to do.

Memo to QM: Binding starts 12/01/12 at midnight! Not one minute before. He he. I have reserved December to bind everything that needs to be bound. I have 5 lined up...would love to add 6 to that. Ok Anna...pressure to open the swap bin. I feel it too.

Ugh binding! Shhh.. Fraew do not tell Beth but I am sneaking over to her place with my little stack that needs binding. She will never notice if I add it to hers. I have heard she now knows to do bindings up to show quality.

Well if that's the case, she'll never notice my 5. Sneak mine in too. That way I can start on Brat's red, black and white quilt.

When it comes to binding, I know when there is one of those in my pile. Now for those swap blocks, those would get lost in the shuffle for sure. No sneaking those bindings to my house.

Since Fraew is having herself a month of binding fun, then she can do them. Everyone can take theirs to her house and have themselves a wild party and Annaquilts will be bringing those partying chickens with her with Jose and the party limo.

Remember, I said I am finishing things, not collecting them. Boy aren't I the fiesty one today. i think i am drawing lines in the sand lately. Also, I am ready to just say no to this craft show. The more I try to do the more behind I get. Blasted!

QM quote-Boy aren't I the fiesty one today. -quote

You sure sound like it. I am turning the limo with chickens around and I am making Jose drive me and the bindings to Fraew's place. LOL Hope things come together for you Beth.

Fraew, ah huggy huggies.. thank you! I knew you would cave to the power of begging

ok bindings I sit in a chair 3.5 hours three times a week where I am stuck. Cant get up. I sew my bindings there if I need any one so since its a long term thing feel free to cover me in bindings you need done.I am pretty ok with hand stitching the backsides so they look lovely. its not glam work but its mindless. Otherwise how would one get binding done if your not stuck in a chair tied to a machine? wanna borrow my spot?

ufo's I have two potholders from hell, two quilt tops and one baby quilt top. Need to be made into quilts. i hate that part. I love making the fabrics work. After that I am bored. Yikes what kind of quilter am I? a lazy one.

Now Elisabrat, the quilting is the part I am really starting to enjoy to the max. That is the part which is starting to overtake me. There is that fun option of trading girl. You do two bindings and I do one quilt. The hardest part of that trade is the mailing time and money.

I am working on a binding as we speak. Also, I have begun to get real good at sewing them on with the machine and lining them up so you can hardly tell it was machined instead of by hand. That is what I have done with the last ones. They are not going in show so why not. I did see some at the fair being machined on instead. Not something I would do, but hey if it works. The one I am doing by hand is for a customer who bought the quilt so kinda have to do it the formal way.

Have a great party at Fraew's place. Be careful those chickens might cause some trouble, they know how to get into trouble taking the long way.

Hmmm don't worry about the chickens. I feel like fryed chicken.

As for sewing the binding on by machine, I have been doing that since my 3 rd quilt or so. I can still see the disgusted look on the face from my then quilt instructor at Quilt in a Day. LOL Well then mine do not look like quiltermomma's but they are on. None of my quilts have been entered into shows. the only ones that I might consider entering I have given away and or I know both the quilting and binding were not on par for showing.
