Oldcatlady, I have just learned quilt-as-you-go a little bit and that is how I will do all my future quilting. I do quilt large quilts for my customers on my bernina aurora430. It is hard, but that is all I have and I hand quilt some but I don't like to because it is slow as death to me.

I saw a show on that awhile ago and thought I might try it. I'm REALLY bad at machine quilting. The back gets all twisted no matter what I do and it is just too much quilt to work with on my regular machine. I love hand quilting but only do it in the winter because I don't have AC in my house and it is so hot in the summer. But, I agree, it is slow. I envy all you who can make some many quilts in a short period of time!

I bought the new 100 block magazine. So, I will be trying new blocks from this for the remaining ones I have not made yet. I do have some to mail out. I am confused. I went to the post office and they charged me $1.95 for one envelope with a grown up block in it. But, I receive grown up blocks from everyone that has 65 cents as postage. I have always mailed out blocks with the 65 cents before. So, I guess I will mail them with 65 cents. I only hope no one has to pay anything for lack of postage. Please let me know if you do.
