Nancia....love the block. I am currently working on a quilt of all wonky stars. It is so fun to work on. This is what I have done so far. It will be 96 by 104 once I am done with it.

nexxus-- it looks wonderful! i think wonkies are fun, too. i try not to have them wonkey now, but would love to do a wonky one day. oo, i did do one for the dq swap but i don't think it was wonkie enough and i'm afraid the recipient thought it was just sloppy work. that's the risk you take when you leave your comfort zone!

I am sorry didn't mean to imply yours was wonky. I do all things wonky though. Its easier that way no one can EVER tell if I have messed up. LOL.

no offense taken. i'm doing all variations of the ohio star so i'm trying to get all the points right and all the seams matched. such a simple block and it's killing me!! i have a quilt pattern with this block and i'm starting to think maybe i won't do it after all. with a simple block there's nothing to distract you from imperfections. look at the one i sent sue. you can tell right away the seams don't match! lololololol!!

my seems never match....honestly you can't really tell once a quilt top is quilted anyways. That is my beliefs anyways.

Well, I am working on blocks today. I will hopefully get them all sewn and in the mail by tomorrow. I did finish up 10 quilt tops, one coat top, one quilted teddy bear and four pillows. Nearly to my 120. I am sewing these up because they have the same deadline. Good thing they are all cut up and ready to go.
