Jaba - love that block from Moonwork, I only wish the one I made for you was half as pretty.

I love that block from her too, wish she'd send me the pattern or tell me what block it is or where she got it or??? AND I'm sure your block will be just as beautiful but now I have to wait another day before it gets here.....what's up with that? heehee! Don't know what to say Elisabrat about your new little kitty, yup he is cute, as long as he's at your house. I am deathly allergic to them, so very glad you're taking care of him for me. See missy, you're doing me such a big favor and you didn't even know it!! Yup Yup you have done your good deed, now you can feel so much better. Just kind of warms the heart doesn't it?
Almost forgot, thanks all for liking that little baby quilt. Really did turn out pretty cute and it was an easy one for me to do since my very most favorite color is anything purple, well almost anything...never was a big fan of the flying purple people eater. Oh my I am getting carried away, better hit that shower and get my you know what into that sewing room and begin...tada!!!! Check in with all you wonderful people later..have a great day

Success!!! I was awake before 1. However, a piece of homework that I thought I had saved but still had open in Word, has disappeared because my terroristic kittens pulled the plug on my laptop last night. Ugh there's a reason I tend to lock them in the bathroom at night. I didn't last night cause they weren't terrorizing ME.. nooo.. they were terrorizing my homework. Ohwell, it was just one of those "tell us about you" homeworks that come as the first assignment for every online class ever. And well, we all know I like to talk about ME. At least I excessively saved my math homework so I don't have to redo that. Then, after I submit these, i can SEW for a few days.

jaba -- here's the pattern I used. It was one I copied from goodness who knows who or where though. I have paper copies just shuffled together and don't know where they came from. Not a good system but it's too late for me now .

I put the ruler by it so you could see the dimensions. You might be able to print it out and go from there.

Glad y'all like it. I think it makes up real nice. Be sure to use "scant 1/4 inch" seams or it won't turn out 12.5.

Nexxus -- a scant 1/4 inch is a few threads shy of a full 1/4 inch seam...more than 1/8 inch but less than a 1/4 inch.

On many paper piecing patterns if you use a full 1/4 inch seam you run the risk of your block being just short enough to make you nutso.
