Anastasia I feel for you! I sewed right through my pinky one time and it was not fun! The needle of the machine broke off inside of my finer so I had to go over to the ER to have them slice it open and take the metal out
I have also sliced through an entire stack of completed blocks for a swap once...that rotary cutter can be quite scary..the needle too!

Elisabrat I tried to get there, really I did, but thought I better get to sewing to get these envelopes out of here. So I resorted to a bagel and some strawberry jam and then I had to put some Nutella on top of that so I could get my chocolate fix. It was soooo good. Just came out of my little sewing cave and in tomorrow's mail I will be sending savannarandons, nancia, phannie1, tammoo, mosher92. Pics are in the album if you can't wait. Cut out and ready to sew are marcialee and daisy, not posted pic yet but will mail tomorrow. TADA TADA no envelopes left at my house, until I get the rest of them.
I only have ctmhjenn left to receive in rubies and 1000projects, areinn, and lv2sew2011 in diamonds.
Sorry I can't go on and on tonight, aren't you guys lucky.....have to get dinner and watch my Bronco's play football. Have a good night everyone.

Anastasia - I, like you are so waiting for everyone to get the blocks I made,. They all went out on Friday so guess I will have to wait longer than you. I don't have a blog or whatever so haven't posted what I sent.
Seems weird not having any fabric to play with - I was nervous about doing a small group - but this was sucha a labor of love and I loved loved playing with different fab and different patterns.
The quilt shop nearest me is closing the end of the month. this weekend they had 30% off everything - and $1.50 FQ!! I went nuts on FQ! I work at a Western Art Museum three days a week and wanted to make something for my coworkers but had not ONE western thing in my stash. SOO I now do - waahoo! Thinking about bags for them all. Everyone can use bags!! \
Take care all and a good nightynight to you!

Oh no, I enjoy applique also.

In fact I've done several this time around myself instead of just pieced ones.
