I have all the F8 except materialgirl and I understand that one is on the way.

My daughters quote for today,"Mom, you spend a lot of time sewing, why haven't we seen any finished quilts?"

It starts in June and runs thru April of next year. Everyone on the site seems very nice and helpful. There are tutes on it already, and they seem to encourage those of us with little to no machine applique experience to join and they will answer the questions and offer solutions. Here is the link for it. And best of all they are from all over the world, Spain, Australia, Scotland, etc

    Pattis and Mom (vivnme)

That is a variation of the carpenters wheel block. I modified it ALOT. I wanted all the squares around the middle star to be the same size. I printed it out on Quilt Assistant. If you download Quilt Assistant (it is free) and can send you the pattern. There are over 100 pieces in that block and I believe I ripped out at least 20 seams, probably more.

Mom, this is the same block I told you I wanted for my next quilt (before I modified it).
